4. Watering: Keep the soil evenly moist but not waterlogged. Water thoroughly and allow the top inch of the soil to dry out slightly between waterings. Adjust the frequency based on the temperature, humidity, and season. Reduce watering during winter when growth slows down.

5. Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix that retains some moisture. A mix of peat moss, perlite, and orchid bark or sphagnum moss works well. Avoid heavy, compacted soils that can lead to waterlogging and root rot.
