When the main rosette starts to die after flowering, it's a sign that it's nearing the end of its life cycle. At this point, you can remove the dying rosette and allow the surrounding pups to take over.

8. Pests and Diseases: Sempervivum arachnoideum is relatively pest and disease-resistant. However, keep an eye out for common succulent pests like mealybugs and aphids. If you notice an infestation, treat it promptly with insecticidal soap or neem oil.
